Aerospace has always been one of the main drivers for AM. As an early adopter, aerospace has not only been regularly pushing the boundaries of what is feasible for years, it also has to intensively address fundamental issues such as sustainability. In this context, AM is of immense importance in aerospace. Zero emissions, CO2-neutral flights and aircrafts are the requirements of the near future. Sustainability in the product itself, in the production processes and the consideration of the entire life cycle form the framework for this.
