"Advanced Manufacturing" & "Emission-free Mobility", a perfect match
Tilo Zimmermann at the Innovation Campus stand, kneeled down with Video Jockey Shristi Mangal Pal and explained how they use AM in improving mobility. Using AM to manufacture small machine parts, comes together in a bigger picture. As academic partners, the University of Stuttgart and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology combine their competencies in research and engineering to quickly and flexibly develop new technologies, test new approaches and create the basis for innovations. The two strategic research fields "Advanced Manufacturing" and "Emission-free Mobility" are addressed and, thus, cover the topics of product development, production and products for a new future-oriented and sustainable mobility of tomorrow.
